Wendy is the author of multiple bestselling books – including a human anatomy book, a factopedia where she covers 23 fields of science, and a cardio-protective cookbook written in association with the NIH’s NHLBI. She’s written for network television, PSA radio spots for the NIH, countless medical education pieces for both print and video, and authored hundreds of articles in publications such as the NEJM and Scientific American. Inducted into the National Press Club in 1994, Wendy’s passion is empowering her audiences with evidence-based science that resonates, rather than alienates. She is a member of the American Public Health Association, 500 Women Scientists DC, and resides in the Agricultural Reserve, outside of Washington, DC.
